Dedicated to the development and celebration of original creation by NDH Artistic Director Robin Poitras, this project-based company is a foundation for creation, production and touring.

The Pelican Project

The Pelican Project is an ongoing series of creative workshops that explore the magic of art, nature and myth through sound, movement, text and visuals. The project has culminated in a series of processional performances featured in Regina's Cathedral Village Arts Festival, May 24-29, 2004, the Grasslands Project in the summer of 2004 and various other events. In June 2003, the Pelicans were invited to bring the magic of the procession to Ottawa, with performances in the National Gallery of Canada and in Strathcona Park.
