Metis jigging is a traditional form of dance that originates from the Metis people in Canada. Typically performed in pairs or groups, with dancers incorporating intricate footwork, heel-toe movements, and quick turns. Metis jigging is often accompanied by fiddle music, and it is a significant part of Indigenous culture, expressing joy, celebration, and a sense of community.
