Learn the principles supporting Energy Medicine and Energy Medicine Yoga including energy systems in and around the body, acupressure, and tapping into ancient systems.

Meridians – A network of 14 channels of energy movement,
Chakras – Vortices of electromagnetic activity.

EMYoga for Emotional Balance
Balance the emotional body, help understand yourself and others, through the lens of the Five Element Theory. Learn the significance of yin and yang. Discover your primary element, the energetic cycle, and the peak pose to balance each element.
Sunday, August 15, 9:30 – 12 pm

An EMYoga Practice for the Fire Element
Fire element energy peaks in summer. This practice will help balance the energy of summer.  
Sunday, August 15, 1:30 – 3:30 pm

An EMYoga Practice for the Earth Element
The earth element balances us in times of change. This practice is an experience in self-care.

Patricia Dewar
Patricia Dewar, PhD has recently obtained a Master’s in Energy Medicine Yoga and has practiced and taught various styles of yoga for over 30 years. She values how movement, done with awareness, can be beautifully crafted when it flows from a place of intuitive wisdom and caring.
Linda Hiebert, PhD is a physiologist and Emeritus Professor (U of S). She has practiced yoga for many years, beginning with TM asana, and has recently obtained a Master’s in Energy Medicine Yoga and is a certified teacher in Modern Yoga Method.
