Feldenkrais® Method for Running & Dancing
Awareness Through Movement®

Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) classes consist of verbally guided movement sequences. Each class is different. The classes focus on creating an enjoyable learning environment where self-awareness can grow and evolve. Discover increased vitality, mobility, coordination, and movement intelligence by following your curiosity, ease, and pleasure.

This series will explore lessons that are of benefit to both running and dancing. Perfect for longtime runners, new runners, aspiring runners, professional dancers, amateur dancers, and the dance-curious!

Class Structure:
1 hour Awareness Through Movement®  Lesson
25 minutes of Running includes Running Games & Structures

Instructor(s): Johanna Bundon and Jayden Pfeifer

5:30PM to 7PM

University of Regina, Centre for Kinesiology Health and Sport, 3925 Goldenrod Loop.

Johanna Bundon is Saskatchewan based dancer and choreographer. She is currently a 4th year student in the San Diego 4 Feldenkrais Professional Training Program and an Authorized Trainee Awareness Through Movement® teacher. She looks forward to sharing her passion for movement with you!

Jayden Pfeifer is a theatre artist and a passionate amateur runner who pleasures in the personal and collegial byproducts of long distance training and racing. He has been exploring Ultra Running over the past 4 years.

COMMUNITY PARTNER
Prairie Sky Running is best known for their Beaver Flat 50 trail run at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, SK with 2300 meters of vertical gain across 50 kilometers. Brothers, Warren & Jeff Dudar founded the race and developed this trail network in relationship with Sask Parks and the running community. It's a mountain race, sans the mountain.
