Itcush Method aims to improve posture, align the skeleton and build functional movement patterns. The Itcush Method use principles of the Mitzvah Technique to teach self maintenance exercises done on the floor, in a chair and while standing. The outcome is improved physical function, freedom from pain and renewed connection with daily movements.

Instructor: Kana Nemoto

Kana Nemoto is a certified teacher of the Mitzvah Technique and Itcush Method. For the last five years, her teaching practice has brought her across the Canadian prairies and back to Japan. Originally from Kobe, Japan, Kana began her movement training in classical ballet where she was introduced to the Mitzvah Technique and Itcush Method by Amelia Itcush. It was during her rigorous training as a young dancer that she experienced the integration of bodywork into dance education. This experience was so influential that after completing her B.Sc. in Health Science at Tottori University she moved to Davidson, SK.  There she fully immersed herself into teacher training with Amelia Itcush. After periods of recent collaborative training with certified teachers across Canada and Japan, Kana has shifted her home to Regina and is eager to share her work with the community.
