NDH is pleased to have been invited by Regina Downtown Business Improvement District
to co-produce a series of FREE Community Events including 6 Wearable Art Workshops,
3 Tango Classes, 1 ICE & FIRE PARADE and 1 Milonga Dance Party.
The series runs January 24th - February 16th in conjunction with FROST Regina.​

Wearable Art Workshops

Event Description
This opportunity invites all to create their own unique costume and learn songs and dance steps that will be performed in the NDH ICE & FIRE WINTER PARADE. The Procession is Monday, February 16th, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tango Classes with Dayle Schroeder-Hillier ​& Kivil Woodward

Get ready to Tango this winter with Dayle Schroeder-Hillier & Kivil Woodward! These lessons are part of The Tango Project as well as NDH at FROST @ Downtown. The Tango Project is a three part invitation to join in a wonderful interplay of Tango Music & Dance, presented by NDH in partnership with Regina Musical Club and Darke Hall.  NDH at FROST @ Downtown is co-produced with Regina Downtown Business Improvement District.

Class Description:
Argentine Tango is a dance by the people, for the people. Everyone and anyone with any level of dance experience is welcomed to join. In this three-week session, we will learn the Tango basics of walking, rhythm, and connection. At the end of the session, you will be able to navigate a milonga dance floor while showing off beautiful Tango footwork. Whether you are an experienced Tango dancer or first-time beginner, this class is for you!
