This FREE weekend event features a fundraising sale of wonderfully crafted Christmas tree and holiday season ornaments, created and gifted by the South Saskatchewan Woodturners Guild. Prizes will abound for all ages!

NDH studio will transform into a winter wonderland of tiny proportions full of wee installations. In addition to the displays and ornament sales on Saturday & Sunday, join NDH special guest artists and friends for an interactive Sunday afternoon of short performance and story reading activities. Especially for children!

Sunday Afternoon Activities (December 11th)
1pm - 2pm / 3 sessions
Meet Joanne Crofford & BOOMTOWN DRUMS in a series of 10 minute, mini motion & rhythm sessions. 
For those seeking stocking stuffer specials, shakers and percussion instruments will be on sale. 
2pm - 3pm /  2 readings
We welcome families and children of all ages for a special story reading of “nimosôm anima | nimihšōmihš ta-minciwēnciman: Grandfathers Reminder”, with Co-authors: Dr. Kathleen O’Reilly and Alberta-Rose Bear, and Illustrator Lindsey Bear.  
“We need to be careful that we don’t hurt the gifts that are given to us.” Told in paskwâwinîmowin (Plains Cree), anihšināpēmowin (Saulteaux), and English, this simple tale of traditional teachings and values follows a grandparent and grandchild on a visit to a chokecherry patch, where lessons about respect and gratitude for the earth’s gifts are shared.
3pm - 4pm / 3 performances
Catch a glimpse of Winnipeg’s MOVING ROOTS (MR), movement based performing arts company in Pop Up Performances, featuring Anastasia Evsigneeva & Anna Protsiou.
