Instructor Biographies
Dayle Schroeder-Hillier is a born and raised Regina dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Her Argentine Tango journey began in 2003 when her travels connected her with Tango teachers throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, Australia, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since moving back to Saskatchewan in 2008, Dayle has partnered with New Dance Horizons on several occasions to help build a Tango dance community in Regina. She is excited to join New Dance Horizons once again for this exciting project and encourages everyone to come try a little Tango!
Kivil Woodward is an avid social dancer who has been working to gradually develop his Tango skills over the past decade. His enthusiasm for Tango is linked to his interests and appreciation of freedom, co-creativity and collaboration expressed through the body and movement. Additionally, Woodward’s practice of Osteopathy at Prairie Sky Integrative Health along with his study of Tai-chi Chuan further advance these sentiments, and are both targeted at developing a deeper sense of wellbeing, ease, and enjoyment in the body. Kivil is thrilled to join Dayle and New Dance Horizons in sharing this wonderful dance form with the community.
